“Loved this hotel in a spectacular location in Bergamo. Despite being in the heart of the Cittá Alta, it was quiet and we had a wonderful nights sleep. The breakfast had a little buffet with everything you need and as well you have a à la carte with great options. The rooms are clean and modern and quite spacious. Really enjoyed my stay here and looking forward to coming back.”

“A small hotel, part of the Design Hotels brand bought by Marriott a few years ago. There's apparently 15 rooms (the top floor where we were had rooms 11, 12 and 14 - there's no 13 and I don't know where the other 2 rooms were.) our room had a good sized lounging area with a 3 seater settee and an armchair as well as a round kitchen/dining table with 4 chairs. Rooms don't have keys, you are given a 4-digit pass code to enter onto a keypad to unlock the door. Staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient. For breakfast there's a good buffet where each room has an assigned table. You can ask for room service instead. A limited hot selection is available to order. Location couldn't be better in the heart if the medieval citta alta. Road access is limited bit it's not far from the funicolare station or the Colle Aperto bus stop. Rooms are quiet, even when the town is buzzing. The surrounding churches do give a charming alarm call with a peal of bells at 7.30am but they stop at 10.00pm. A great place for a relaxing stay.”

“One of the most unique Marriott properties I’ve stayed in. Amazing location and different than normal. The town was amazing and friendly and historic. The staff was friendly and being a smaller hotel they knew you and talked to people about their stay. Would definitely go back.”

“We stayed at this wonderful hotel for just one night, and it truly exceeded our expectations. I want to highlight two amazing guys at the reception — so friendly and positive, they immediately created such a warm first impression. The hotel has a perfect location — just a two-minute walk from the main square. We also easily found parking nearby. We were a family of two adults and one 12-year-old child, and our room was a beautiful two-level suite with two bathrooms — simply fantastic! The only thing is that it was a bit warm inside, but nothing major. And yes, the church bells ring around 7:30 a.m., which might wake up late sleepers, but for us it was perfectly fine. If I could suggest one small improvement — it would be to add some egg dishes, like omelets, to the breakfast. That was the only thing missing. But overall, everything else was absolutely perfect. The room was so thoughtfully designed, every detail made with love. We’ve been traveling across Italy, staying in many high-rated hotels, and honestly, we didn’t expect much Gombit — yet we got a truly fantastic experience.”

She is smart, supportive, and truly wonderful. We genuinely enjoyed her presence and the positive energy she brought to our stay.
